1/2lb weight loss for week 2

I’m playing catch up this week. Started out with the sinus stuff (again) and then we got nuts with the anticipation of the “great snow storm” we’d experience here in Central Texas.
Now, after our torrential downpour of a whopping 1/2-1 inch of snow, things are melting and life is returning to it’s normal state.
It’s also highly possible that I didn’t want to post I’d only lost such a minucule amount of weight. The half pound weight loss is a bit disappointing, but it’s still in the right direction. My goals are being slowed by my sinus garbage. I’ve got surgery scheduled for next month and my hope is the procedure will help give me some relief, but that doesn’t excuse me from eating things I shouldn’t or not moving more.
On Monday, I full expect I won’t see a weight loss. Because of all this sinus crap, I anticipate I’ll post no weight loss or even a weight gain. It’s a set back, but I won’t be discouraged. I’m going to get to my goals no matter what.
The big challenge this weekend is going to not eat all the girl scout cookies we’re going to pick up in a few hours.
