Emergency room nurses have demanding jobs. They are expected to be prepared for anything for eight, ten, twelve, and longer shifts. Car accidents, shootings, heart attacks, unexpected deliveries, drug overdoses and anything else you can think of could come through the doors. Life and death situations, stressful and frustrating, each day working in an ER will be different from the day before.
