Kids are well, I’m back in my routine, and things are on the upswing.
I didn’t gain 5 pounds through stress eating and I got exercise in each day. Things are good.
Now, I’ve got my head right where it should be, taking better care of myself and making sure I don’t get sick.
Back to the Mamavation challenge with full force. It’s been an interesting week– learning more about Twitter (I’m pawf1067), Facebook, how not to get a Twitter Butt.
This week I’ve done push-ups in my kitchen, done a spontaneous set of crunches followed by the 100 (think pilates), and completed more planks than I did all last year.
Plus, I even managed to pick up some shock-absorbing floor mats from Home Depot so I can exercise in total comfort.
Honestly, I absolutely love shopping on the Home Depot website. They always offer such amazing deals.
Plus, I actually managed to find a promo code on the Raise website so I got my workout mats at a brilliant price.
Do you shop much on the Home Depot website? If so, I would definitely recommend taking a look for any promo codes before heading to the checkout. You never know, you might be able to make a big saving.
Online shopping is just so convenient.
That is not all that I have been up to though.
Each day, I make “new” friends on Twitter, Facebook, and the Mamavation Challenge (remember my video is pawf1067). I feel more motivated, more powerful, more in control of how I’m eating, how much, how often, and why. I want to exercise, even if it’s small bits of time here and there.
What a feeling (not to quote a cheesy 80’s movie) to know that you’re in some sort of control each day. Don’t get me wrong, I know I’ll slip, fall, and will have my set backs, but I will get there.
2011 is starting out to be a great year.
